As we are using the readymade bread slices, there is almost no make ahead preparation needed.

I have used the fresh unsalted butter, hence I have added a dash of salt to the mix. But if you are adding the salted butter, then there is no need to add any salt to it. Otherwise your garlic bread will become too salty.

Another thing that should be noted is that I have used the Italian Seasoning instead of the regular dried herbs. I love the flavor that the Italian seasoning gives, but you can always use the Dried Herbs instead. I just love this variation.

You can even add some cheese on top and cook till the cheese melts. Your delicious cheesy garlic bread will be ready in no time at all.

Ingredients

  • 4 bread slices
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tsp garlic finely minced
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp red chili flakes
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning

Instructions

  • Add the butter, garlic, salt, red chili flakes and Italian Seasoning in a bowl and mix well.
  • Apply this butter mixture to the bread slices evenly on one side.
  • Heat a pan and cook on the buttered side facing down first.
  • Turn over and cook till browned.
  • Serve hot.
