Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup Dijon mustard or a mix with yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar optional
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Prep the Chicken: Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Make the Sauce: Whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic, and apple cider vinegar in a bowl.
  • Assemble in the Crockpot: Place the chicken in the crockpot. Pour the sauce over it, ensuring the chicken is well-coated.
  • Cook: Cover and cook:
  • Low: 6-7 hours
  • High: 3-4 hours
  • Optional Sauce Thickening: Simmer the liquid from the crockpot on the stove for 5-10 minutes to thicken.
  • Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve with your favorite sides.
