What you will need?

  • Any fabric.
  • Embroidery hoop, 15cm (6″) (Bigger if you are working on a larger design) ( You can purchase a set of 6 hoops from Amazon for your basic needs.)
  • Tapestry needle
  • Embroidery thread (You can buy this pack of 36 shades of the DMC embroidery floss.)

How many strands of floss do you need for making this pattern

I have used 6 strands for most of the pattern. I’ll mention the stitches where different number of strands were used below.

How to work this Stitch Along With Me Pattern

1. Start by drawing the above pattern. I first started with back stitch for the long stem. Followed by the stem stitch for the small stem of the flower and the lazy daisy for the leaves.

2. Next, you can use the lazy daisy again for the flowers and finish it with satin stitch for the center of the flower.

Hey, just curious what fabric you’re using in the tutorial? I’ve looked, but I can’t find what it’s called
