السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

Chicken Sukka recipe is one of those recipes that you will make when you are confused with what to make. This dish is quick, easy and simple. (canadianpharmacy365.net)

This weekend been pretty exciting as I got my first DSLR.  I really felt so excited getting it. Armed with the new camera, I was ready to shoot the world. Well, don’t get me wrong. Not with a gun but with my camera. Learning all the settings, going through the manual (though I haven’t finished it yet), I was all fired up. I have really taken some pictures of weird things, right from the hair band of my daughter to a sticker in the kids room. That’s how you learn I guess. Trial and error. Though I am far, far away from getting any decents clicks in near future.

I would be updating my previous recipes with new clicks.  I know they are horrendous to say the least. But it never felt the same clicking away to glory with a smartphone. I wasn’t inspired at all and it showed.

And while I am talking or rather raving about my new gadget, I couldn’t help mention Brian Jones from krumpli.co.uk. He has been such a great help right from choosing the camera to all the finer details that comes with photography. Though I haven’t learnt much and feel like a preschooler stepping into a school, trying to learn the ABC of the trade, he has tried his level best to make me understand in simplest way possible. I am not done yet and still keep pestering him with all the silly questions and he patiently guides me with each and everything. Whoever said virtual world was a dangerous place???!!! Extending a big, fat, thank you to him.

I keep making the Chicken Sukka recipe due to the sheer ease of it. Let’s get started with the Chicken Sukka Recipe. chicken sukka recipe

Thank you for the name check, happy to have been some help…

I love this recipe and it is the sort of quick Indian dish that I love, the ingredients sound like the perfect marriage, do you make your own Garam Masala? I’m loving the pictures too, the colours are vibrant and composition really very nice 🙂

      Thank you so much..
Yup, I do make the garam masala at home mostly, the freshly ground powder gives an amazing aroma, but when in a hurry, I opt for whole spices or go for a store bought powder.

Glad I am not the only one, I used to used store bought stuff when I lived in the UK… But now my ‘dealer’ 😉 is so far away I have to grind my own as whole spices have a better shelf life than ground 🙂

I even use the homemade cumin, coriander and fenugreek powder. Lightly roasting the seeds and grinding to a fine powder will give an amazing flavor. Nothing can beat homemade stuff.

Same here, makes the kitchen smell amazing too… Still trying to find somewhere to source a curry leaf plant from though, dried leaves taste of nothing!

omg.. I have a curry plant in my home, and I can understand ur pain. Nothing can ever match the fresh curry leaves.Never ever. Even the fresh leaves, left in the fridge for few days don’t smell good. I hope you find a plant asap.

I have been looking for a while, I can’t even find seeds… I know they take a while to grow but I am patient, it took 5 years to crop our asparagus 😉 I’ll get there eventually 🙂

Cooked it just now. Commenting while typing :P. This came out delicious.
One of my problems being a newbie cook is, how to get the chicken to be tender.
These came out tasty but are not as juicy as I would like them to be.. Because of my own inexperience, I know!
Could you please tell ensure it doesn’t get dry and stringy?

That’s awesome, Abhisek! I hope you enjoyed the chicken sukka recipe.
The tenderness and the softness of the chicken would depend upon the quality and age of the hen. I get the chicken which is approximately 1kg or 1.2kg, not more. You can even try marinating the chicken for making it soft and succulent. Hope that helps.
