- 1 chicken cut into small pieces
- 4 onions sliced
- 2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
- whole garam masala 1 bay leaf, 1 inch stick cinnamon, 2 cardamon, 2 cloves, 1 teaspoon shahi jeera, 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 2 to matoes finely chopped
- 2 cups yogurt
- 1/4 cup cashew nut powdered
- salt to taste
- handful of mint and coriander leaves
- 3 tablespoon oil or ghee
Clean the chicken and wash it with turmeric and wheat flour. This removes the raw smell from the chicken.
Heat oil in a pan and add green chili, garam masala and onion.
Fry the onion till brown and add ginger garlic paste.
Add tomatoes and cook till tender. Add chili powder, coriander powder and salt.
Add yogurt and mix well. Stir in the cashew powder gently, mixing it well.
Mix in the chicken and cover the lid and cook on low flame till the chicken is cooked.
Add coriander and mint leaves and serve hot.
