This Ground Turkey With Potatoes recipe is one of my go-to easy weeknight dinners. It is filling, cozy, and my three teens will actually eat it without rolling their eyes. You just need simple stuff like ground turkey, potatoes, and a few spices. Perfect for busy nights when you do not wanna stress.
Wash and dice your potatoes into small cubes so they cook faster. Heat one tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet. Add the diced potatoes with a little salt and pepper. Cook them until they are golden on the outside and soft in the middle.
Step 2: Cook the turkey
In a large skillet, heat olive oil on medium. Add ground turkey and cook until browned. Break it apart with a spoon.
Step 3: Add onion and garlic
Stir in chopped onion and garlic. Cook until onion is soft and smells amazing.
Step 4: Season it up
Sprinkle in paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix everything well.
Step 5: Cook potatoes
Add potatoes into the skillet with turkey. Pour in a splash of water and cover the skillet. Let it cook until potatoes are soft, about 15 minutes. Stir a few times so nothing sticks.
Step 6: Finish and serve
Top with shredded cheese if you want, and sprinkle parsley before serving.

Tips

Variations
Add veggies like peas, corn, or carrots for more color and flavor.
Swap potatoes with sweet potatoes for a sweet and savory twist.
Make it spicy by adding chili flakes or taco seasoning.
