In a bowl, take mutton and add salt, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and ginger garlic paste. Mix and marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Heat oil in a pan and add whole spices, green chilli, tomato. Cook until tomatoes turn soft.
Add the marinated mutton and cook till it browns.
Add water and cook until the mutton is done.
Throw in the coriander leaves.
Add the wheat paste and adjust the consistency of the curry. Add salt according to your taste.
Heat the 2 tbsp oil in a kadai and fry the onion till brown.
Add this fried onion to the curry and leave it for simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
