Ingredients

  • 4 bread slices cut into circles. You can make 1 or up to 3 circles with one slice of bread.
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato finely chopped
  • 1 green chili finely chopped
  • 2 tbs coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp sooji / rawa
  • oil for frying

Instructions

  • Take the onion, tomato, green chili, coriander leaves, garam masala powder, red chilli powder and salt in a bowl. Mix well.
  • Next add in the sooji and mix. Gradually add some water if required to make a thick paste. The onion and tomato will leave water by itself, so just add one teaspoon at a time.
  • Apply this mixture to the bread discs to fully cover them.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry till golden brown in color.
  • Remove and serve hot with ketchup.
