- 750 gms boneless chicken breasts
- 2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 teaspoon peppercorns
- 2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
- 2 tsp white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 2 tablespoon oil
Cut the chicken pieces into small cubes and wash it with turmeric and wheat flour. This removes the raw smell from the chicken.
Lightly roast the cumin seeds and peppercorns. and grind them to a fine powder once they cool.
Heat a pan and add chicken, ginger garlic paste, garam masala, vinegar, and salt.
Cook covered on low heat till all the water evaporates.
Add oil and fry on high heat till chicken browns.
Next, mix in the cumin and pepper powder well and cook for a further 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Your pepper chicken fry is ready to serve.
- Cooking time will vary according to the quality of the chicken. If you have smaller and tender chicken, it will be cooked faster.
- But if you have large chicken, then it will take more time to cook. You can add water if necessary to tenderize the chicken.
