Spicy Potato Fry- Spicy Aloo Fry

Simple and Easy Spicy Potato Fry

  • 2-3 Potatoes cut into small cubes
  • 5-6 whole red chillies
  • 1 garlic pod
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoon oil


  • Steam the cut potatoes in a steamer or boil till half done. Steaming the potato will allow us to use less oil while frying (I always steam my vegetables in the rice cooker along with rice.
  • While the potatoes are steaming, grind together garlic, chilies and salt to a course powder.
  • Heat oil and fry the potatoes till golden brown.
  • Add the ground powder. Serve hot.
