- 250 gms mutton cut into small pieces
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 4 tbsp oil
- whole spices 1 inch stick cinnamon, 2 cloves, 2 cardamom, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp shahi jeera
- 2 to 3 green chilli cut into half
- 4 to mato chopped
- 2 tbsp coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp wheat flour mixed with water to make a thin paste
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 big onion finely chopped
In a bowl, take mutton and add salt, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and ginger garlic paste. Mix and marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Heat oil in a pan and add whole spices, green chilli, tomato. Cook until tomatoes turn soft.
Add the marinated mutton and cook till it browns.
Add water and cook until the mutton is done.
Throw in the coriander leaves.
Add the wheat paste and adjust the consistency of the curry. Add salt according to your taste.
Heat the 2 tbsp oil in a kadai and fry the onion till brown.
Add this fried onion to the curry and leave it for simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
