Stitch Along With Me 2. If you have not checked my Embroidery Pattern 1, then please do so. It is a simple design that you would love to work on. Now, for this pattern, doesn’t it look so pretty. I love the woven roses. I like to work on them on many of my embroidery projects. You will find them on many of my patterns.
What you will need?
- Any fabric.
- Embroidery hoop, 15cm (6″) (Bigger if you are working on a larger design) ( You can purchase a set of 6 hoops from Amazon for your basic needs.)
- Tapestry needle
- Embroidery thread (You can buy this pack of 36 shades of the DMC embroidery floss.)
How many strands of floss do you need for making this pattern
I have used 6 strands for most of the pattern. I’ll mention the stitches where a different number of strands were used below.
How to work this Stitch Along With Me Pattern
1. Start by drawing the above pattern. I first started with the spider web stitch for the flowers. It is also known as the woven rose stitch. And from the tutorial above, you can understand why. Followed by the stem stitch for the stem and the closed fly stitch for the leaves. I have used only 3 strands of floss for it.
2. Next, you can use the french knots for the center of the flower and for filling the pattern. Straight stitch was added as branches too.
