Rose Lassi Recipe is one of the must have drinks during ramadan iftar time at our home. Along with mango lassi, aam panna, buttermilk, watermelon juice, milkshakes and smoothies, rose lassi recipe is a hands-down winner. A very, very simple drink which quenches your thirst during Ramadan or other hot summer days. Rose Lassi recipe is a pretty versatile drink. Simple to make and elegant to look at, it is made in almost all Asian homes. Rose syrup is added to the yogurt to get a delicious drink. If you have access to fresh rose petals, then this rose lassi recipe will just taste even more amazing than ever. You can make your own rose syrup with it and stock during summer months for beating the heat. I would share how to make rose syrup at home in future. But if you don’t get the rose or if you are short on time, worry not, the store bought rose syrup is just as great.
You can even add the rose syrup to milk or simply have it with plain water. I add some soaked sabja seeds to the rose syrup water during summer months for a delicious drink. Add it to falooda.. the list goes on… Talking of rose lassi recipe and rose milk reminds me of my childhood. That was my favorite drink. I used to add the fresh malai to it for a delicious drink and it used to taste heavenly..
