Ingredients needed for making pepper chicken fry

There is garlic, ginger, vinegar, black pepper and other spices which are freshly roasted and ground. The vinegar gives a nice little twist to it.

I have added less of the black pepper in this dish. It is spicy but not over the top. You can still taste and enjoy all the flavors. But if you want yours to be piping hot, just add more pepper.

What is Black Pepper good for?

Black pepper is good for the stomach. Since black pepper is a carminative, it discourages intestinal gas from forming. It helps in increasing your body’s ability to digest food easily. However, if you have acidity problem, then please use caution when using black pepper.

Ways to serve pepper chicken fry recipe

This pepper chicken fry is a very delicious and tasty recipe and can be served as a side dish, appetizer or a snack. You can serve it with jeera rice, tomato rice, or even lemon rice. This is a great accompaniment that you can pack for your kid’s lunch box.

This is a dry version. You can also add in yogurt along with the cumin and pepper powder for making it more masala type.

Important points to remember while making the pepper chicken fry recipe.

  • Cut the chicken into small pieces for faster cooking and an evenly coated masala.
  • Always wash non-veg with turmeric powder, wheat flour, and vinegar to remove the raw smell from it.
  • Use freshly roasted cumin seeds and peppercorn every time. That gives out the best flavor and aroma.
  • You can also use stone pestle for grounding the cumin and black pepper.

Notes
