Masala Kaju recipe or the the spicy masala cashew nuts is a very quick and simple snack recipe.
It gets ready in no time at all and tastes so yum. Made with very simple spices this masala kaju is surely a hit with me. I love the simplicity with which this gets prepared.
The best part is that the kids simply love it.
All you have to do is slightly roast the cashew nuts before mixing in the spices. Just remember to let it cool lightly before serving. Otherwise your loved ones will end up getting their tongues burnt. And it will not be as crispy when it is piping hot.
The cashew nuts get their crunch after having cooled down a little. So just make them ten minutes ahead of serving time. That time frame should be more than enough for the perfect, crisp masala kaju.
So let’s get started with the masala kaju recipe or the spicy masala cashew nuts recipe
- 1 cup cashew nuts / kaju
- salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp chat masala
- 1/2 tsp amchur powder
- 1 or 2 tbsp oil
Roast the cashew nuts well on low heat. Roast until they are slightly golden n color.
Add the salt, red chilli powder, chat masala, amchur powder.
Add oil and mix till all the masala is coated well with the cashews.
Remove from heat, wait for 10 minutes before serving.
