السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

Many readers have asked me to share the hyderabadi bread halwa recipe. But as it not made often in my house like the other desserts like the sheer khurma, kimami semiya, or carrot halwa, so I didn’t get the chance to share it with you all. But finally there was some khoya lying in the fridge when I had made the dum seviyan for the Eid and I had some leftover bread. So what else can I make other than the Hyderabadi Bread Halwa recipe.

Bread Halwa Recipe-Hyderabadi Bread Halwa Recipe-Double ka meetha

A very popular dessert and Indian sweet which is served in many Hyderabadi marriages. The Hyderabadi Bread Halwa recipe has to be one of the easiest sweet recipes.

Unlike other sweets where if we mess with the ingredients, the whole thing falls apart, this is a pretty fool-proof recipe. We can add the sugar and khoya as per our taste. You can even skip the khoya/mawa and just make it with the milk. And I guess it has to be one of the fastest prepared sweets recipes too.

The Hyderabadi Bread Halwa recipe is cooked pretty fast. You can even use wheat bread for this hyderabadi bread halwa recipe.  You can easily surprise your guests with this delicious recipe when you are short on time.

All it takes is simply fry the bread slices in ghee. Cook the fried bread slices in the sugar syrup, and finally cook them in the milk and khoya for the finishing touch.

For a rich color you can use the saffron as I have used it or totally skip it for more brownish color hyderabadi bread halwa recipe. That’s all you have to do to make the delicious bread halwa ready in a jiffy.
