Do you know what is that one thing which I love about summer? It has to be MANGO! MANGO! and MANGO! Ok.. I am not talking about the fashion brand, guys.. This is a food blog, and it has to be the king of fruits, MANGO… Mango has to be the most favorite fruit in my home, (is there a word favoritest), you will surely find it in my kitchen during the mango season. The sweet, magical and fragrant fruit is really enchanting to say the least. My favorite has to be the Badami /Bainganpalli variety. And when you peel and cut it into pieces and eat, it’s heavenly. And the seed, it’s the kind of mango you want to eat alone in the comfort of your kitchen with the juice running down your fingers as you suck on it blissfully. The fibrous juicy sweet bliss. We used to fight for the seed when we were young.

I am here yet again with a mango recipe. With Mango in full season, what better way to beat the summer heat than Mango Lassi. Mango Lassi is one of the most popular beverages in India. Rich and creamy, Mango Lassi will be a sure hit with kids and adults alike. You can totally skip the sugar and add the honey for sweetness. Even though I try to use honey or date syrup in my recipes as much as possible, but this is one recipe where adding honey or the date syrup to the lassi changes the rich taste of the mango little bit. It’s a personal taste preference, but you can totally go ahead with honey.

Mango lassi is pretty simple to make with few ingredients. Learn how to make mango lassi recipe
