If you are already following my facebook page, then you must have already seen my video there. And actually this recipe name had me in splits. “French Toast Indian Recipe”. It’s both French and Indian in one dish. The combination of the name made me laugh a long time.

Though I have been making this French Toast Indian Recipe since forever. The name had never occurred to me in such a way. My family has always been calling it French Toast. It was only when I wanted to post that I realised that I cannot name it as French Toast as it is definitely not the traditional one.

It is definitely a desi version of the famous counterpart. When I was writing down the name as the French Toast Indian Recipe that I realized that it is pretty unique.

But as they say, what’s in a name. Especially when the outcome is so amazingly delicious. Who cares what’s the name of the dish is. Whether it is Indian Toast or French Toast or Indian French Toast!!

This French Toast Indian Recipe is made with egg, onion, tomato, green chilli and red chilli. We would dip the bread slices in this mixture and fry them up on a skillet. You can drizzle some oil or butter or ghee. It is up to you what would like to use. Butter tastes best for this French Toast Indian Recipe. But I have added oil this time. You can use butter or ghee in place of it.

You can even use brown bread or protein bread in place of the regular one. It wouldn’t make much of a difference to the amazing taste. And it would in fact be a good way to introduce your family to healthier version in the guise of the egg coating.

So what are thinking!! Head right into the kitchen and try this amazingly delicious French Toast Indian Recipe. I am sure you will love the taste and simplicity of it. I am adding the youtube link to the video recipe at the end. Have a look how easy it is.
