When I add the chocolate chips to it, then the chocolate cake in a mug recipe taste reaches another level altogether. Add some chocolate chips, add some nuts, add some fruits. Let your imagination run wild, just mix in your favorite ingredients with the chocolate cake recipe to come up with the most easiest chocolate cake in a mug recipe.
When I make this chocolate cake in microwave recipe, my lil one, R, would pester to help me out with the mixing. She just loves to stir in all the ingredients together. I let her mix some and spill some. More than eating the chocolate cake, she is really very excited to “cook” along with Momma.. I like my chocolate cake in a mug with caramel sauce. The super soft and spongy chocolate cake mixed with caramel sauce is just pure bliss.
