Chicken Croquettes Recipe Indian, How to make Chicken Croquettes

As Ramadan has begun, it is but natural for me to share a lot of fried items. As much as we think every Ramadan that we would stick to something healthy for iftaar, we end up opening our fasts with one fried item or the other.

The chicken croquettes recipe are quite a hit with the kids too. More than the shami kabab or the other mutton recipes, they love these chicken croquettes. You can just roll them up in some pita bread, pour in some garlic sauce or mayonnaise and a dash of salad and you just good to go with a perfect roll.

If you have seen my Chicken Cutlet recipe recently, you will realise how strikingly similar this chicken croquettes recipe is to that.

With very few difference in ingredient, the procedure is almost identical except for the shape perhaps.

Even that would be of no difference if you decide to make them both in same shape.

The only difference is that we use potatoes in the chicken cutlet recipe and in the chicken croquettes recipe we don’t.

Generally Chicken Croquettes Recipe are dipped in egg and rolled in bread crumbs before frying. But however I prefer to use only the maida as I have become so used to this method since a longgg longgggg time.

Somehow dipping in the egg doesn’t entice me a lot. I love the crispiness that the maida batter gives to such recipes.

So let’s just get started with the Chicken Croquettes Recipe Indian, How to make Chicken Croquettes

You’ll be proud….I haven’t fried one thing this Ramadan. We break our fast with dates, water and fruit. We then eat our dinner nod have a little something sweet because sweet cravings are bad when you are fasting!
I love these croquettes. I used to love these growing up and these look great to make for my children. Thanks for sharing.

I’ve never made chicken croquettes in this way before but you’re right, they would be a great quick dinner in a pita with some salad and garlic sauce. Yum!

I normally make my chicken croquettes by adding it into a roux… comes out like melt in the mouth and the kids and adults love it… These look easy and quick to put together…
