- 2 cup cooked rice
- 2 tsp oil/ghee
- 2 tsp jeera/cumin seeds
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- salt to taste
- coriander leaves/cilantro for garnish
Method for Jeera Rice Recipe
- Heat oil/ghee in a pan and all the jeera/cumin seeds.
- When the jeera/cumin seed turn golden brown, add the garam masala powder, salt and give it a stir.
- Add the rice and toss well, coating the rice with the jeera/cumin seeds.
- Serve hot, garnished with coriander leaves/cilantro
