السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته
Check out Rafeeda’s Blog, The Big Sweet Tooth for my guest post on Carrot Halwa. I am totally amazed how she has been blogging for so long. As I suffer from “short-term interest”, blogging for so long with job and kids really beats me. Her blog is a real testimony of her love for blogging, food and culture among other things. I am so glad that blogging has taken me to meeting such fantastic people online. Who else can understand the ups and downs of blogging apart from fellow bloggers. Head over to The Big Sweet Tooth without delay to see a varied collection of her recipes including Coconut Ice Cream and Zebra Cake.
Coming back to my carrot halwa recipe, this recipe is very close to my heart. I got this recipe from my Aunt, who used to make it during Eid. It was both simple to make and delicious to taste. Eid was definitely not complete without her halwa. The carrot halwa was very easy and quick to make, and that was the best thing for me, being the lazy cook that I am. The condensed milk gave it the creamy taste that I love. The melt in the mouth taste sprinkled with crunchy nuts was pure bliss. I used to skip eating the sweets in my house to have a taste of this carrot halwa recipe. So let me not waste further time and straight away head to the carrot halwa recipe.
